Last night, in Astral Projection Class, Angel took us on an amazing guided meditation where we left our physical bodies and went to Ancient Egypt! After an incredible step-by-step (body part-by-body part) relaxation meditation and a precise opening of our chakras, Angel guided our souls on an unforgettable journey. We went out of our bodies and to Alexandria…to meet Cleopatra. As Angel carefully and majestically guides you, you actually begin to visualize the places she is bringing you until, lo and behold, you are there…living it for yourself. Angel is always showing you the most profound and healing places and people on these journeys, but quite often, once she helps gets you there, your spirit just knows where to go and what to do.
I could feel the heat coming from the sand as I walked towards the city of Alexandria. Once in the city, I laughed to myself as I passed people, dressed in gold and white robes, wondering what kind of journeys they were on! I admired the beautiful decorations and buildings that surrounded me. I headed into the regal and powerful palace of Cleopatra…it was filled with servants and statues and beautiful stone everywhere. Once in Cleopatra’s quarters, I could smell the lavender lotions Cleopatra used..completely pure and potent. I submerged myself in Cleopatras hot pool, which was filled with essentail oils and flowers. Once floating in this heavenly water, it felt like all the worries and stresses of life simply disolved into the water and dissappeared. You see, when you are out of your body, all of your senses are heightened, colors are more vibrant, smells are stronger and you become more aware of the effects your surroundings have on you.
Cleopatra, who is very psychic herself, saw me, just as a medium today would see a spirit, and gave me many profound and inspiring messages. She showed me an image of the ocean and one of the desert…. how they represented extremes in my life…and that no matter how extremely difficult life felt, I would make my way back to the beach, where the two meet and I felt most comfortable. (I do love the beach!) She said that if I did not throw myself into both climates, I would not be able to appreciate the beach nor find the most incredible beaches of the world.
She then showed me a HUGE ornate wooden door. I knew that this door represented my work with Angel, www.theacademyoflight.com, and she told me that the door was VERY heavy and would take some time to open. I would need to be patient, determined and unwavering. So I began to push and pull on the door until it slowly cracked open…when suddenly, hundreds and thousands of palm-up hands appeared…reaching out from the slightly cracked door. I was afraid and nervous…it was a little like a horror movie! There were so many, and what did they want?! Then Cleopatra explained to me…”these are all the people who are in desperate need of the information and guidance your project will provide. You see, not only can you not see them behind the door, they don’t know the magnitude of the guidance and support available…so you must be patient, for they can’t all fit through the door at once, yet once the door is open…so many will be helped.”
She went on to explain to me that we live in a difficult time. While the dark ages were so hard because of the lack of spiritual information and directives, today’s world is so hard because of the extremely fast pace…life becomes blurry and it is hard to perceive truth and to find peace. Getting people’s attention is so difficult, yet, imperative.
Then, I heard Angel’s voice again, and even though it seemed like I had been speaking with Cleopatra for barely a minute, 45 minutes had passed and it was time to come back to this world. Before departing, Cleopatra, to my surprise, pulled out an enormous silver sword to give me as a gift. It was about 3 feet long and made of the most beautiful silver I have ever seen. The handle was decorated with jewels and it glowed like it was on fire. As she handed it to me she explained that this sword would help protect me and give me strength to conquer any obstacles or people who may stand in my way. “These people may be people who do not believe in you… friends and family who may doubt you or not show the utmost confidence in you or your project. Or perhaps they do believe in you, but are jealous and want to sabotage your success…do not waste your time with them. You must not let them hurt you or slow you…be strong…this sword is a symbol of that strength.” I thanked her, clutched the sword up close to my heart and smiled…. with Cleopatra on my side….who’s going to stop me now?!

So, If you read my post on visiting Cleopatra, perhaps you are wondering what my husband was wondering….how do you know its not just your imagination or these ideas were being put in your head? Well, I can’t prove to anyone that it’s real, but I know it was. Ultimately, that’s all that matters. The messages and stories that were given to me are so profound and full of imagery….they are inspirational! The sensations and healing that took place on that journey would take a week at the best spa in the world to even come close to simulating! Even that doesn’t seem like it would be enough! So, I ask him, what does he have to lose by believing in spirit and taking these journeys? That life may mean more than we think, that there are spirits and Angels who CARE about us, that there is a God? By taking a leap of Faith, wanting more, looking for and accepting guidance….that doesn’t make us weaker..it makes us stronger and live better lives. It opens up doors to new worlds, and relieves tension, depression and stress! So, he can think it’s all my imagination…it won’t bother me, I know! Just ask Cleopatra!

Psychic ability comes in at the most unexpected times. Last nite while driving home from teaching metaphysical classes, I began driving at 10 mph on a 45mph road. I didn’t understand what was going on but paid heed. A few moments later a giant herd of deer came leaping out of the bottom of the canyon, straight in front of my car. Three of them landed inches in front of me- but because I was driving at a snails pace I could stop just in the nick of time. So when your unconscious starts making you do strange things, pay attention in the event that they’re warnings sent from a concerned spirit.

The Ancient Chinese believed that one night sleeping alone was worth 100 days of tonics. This most likely reflects the fact that when sleeping besides another, energy always leaks towards the lesser source. Meaning that if you operate on a higher vibration then those around you, you will unconsciously pour energy into them all night long. They will wake up energized, while you’ll feel exhausted. It becomes imperative at these times that when you go to sleep, be sure to breathe in through the bottom of your feet. This will not only aid in replentishing your energetic system but cure insomnia and other disruptive sleep pattrns.

Chakra comes from Sanskrit and means “wheel of light“. They run through the stalk and polar axis of the body, and are vortices that pull in or push out energy- determined by our intent. They are who and what we are, what we think and how we feel and change.

The next time someone says or does something that upsets you, process thier words to see if there’s validity in what they said. If so, respond accordingly- if not confront them in a calm and unagressive manner. It’s better to respond after you’ve processed their words, which is why reacting can be self-destructive and damaging for all involved. However, if the person persists in being abusive start looking for ways to remove them from your life, because those people never change.

Always try to give thanks to whatever or whomever you believe in- even if it’s universal energy. This creates an energetic conduit towards the higher emanations that makes you more open to receive. All it costs is a few moments of thought and, over time, you’ll notice this simple habit pours more abundance into your life.

Does anyone really care? If you often feel alone you could be in a stage spirit invokes, to keep us in a sort of emotional cocoon. When you feel this intense weight upon your shoulders, always know there’s a perfect remedy. Help those less fortunate then yourself. In so doing you will find peace and, in scientific terms, a chemical emitted that calms the mind and soothes the soul. You’ll also meet other kindred spirits that suddenly pop out of the woodwork and want to be your best friend. When you want to get something always remember one of the fundamental principles of universal law- give it.

Angels often come to us in the guise of other human beings. In the Bible it states, “Be careful how thou treats thy fellow man, for in so doing one has thus entertained angels unaware.” These divine creatures rarely come to us with wings and halos- and can even look like a homeless or blind man on the street. You’ll know if you’ve encountered one if you get a rushing feeling after helping a stranger- and who knows- maybe you even got a an exra star on your star chart up in heaven.
